The iConf ActiveX SDK consists of 2 components, the iConfServer component, which previews video, streams video/audio/text, and the iConfClient component, which receives video/audio/text from the iConfServer it is connected to. The iConfServer component also comes with a built-in client if you do not want to use a 2nd component to receive video/audio/text.

 


Video encoding/decoding is managed using our H.263 Video Encoding Engine  which comes in the form of 2 redistributable dlls included with the SDK.

Audio encoding can be achieved using a variety of codecs such as GSM 6.10, G.723.1, SPEEX (needs to be installed)
